A Day of Discovery: Pyroneers Visit Gizelis Robotics Open House

This Saturday, we had the pleasure of attending the Gizelis Robotics SA & Gizelis S.A. Open House, an event that offered us a look into the forefront of industrial machinery and automation robotics.

During our visit, we were introduced to the tools and equipment designed and produced by these pioneering companies. The event provided insights into advanced industrial-grade machining processes, showcasing the precision, efficiency, and technological excellence that drive modern manufacturing.

As participants in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) - a challenge that simulates industrial-level competition - this experience was especially important for us. It gave us valuable insights into real-world industrial applications and strengthened our connection to the principles that inspire our engineering and robotics efforts.

The experience was both inspiring and educational, expanding our understanding of the intersection between robotics, automation, and industrial technology. This experience has left us even more motivated to further explore the endless possibilities of technology and innovation.

Pyroneers @ FIRST Global Athens 2024

Our team might be new, but Pyroneers has already started leaving a significant impact on both the Greek FIRST community and our local one.

A Milestone Event: FIRST Global Athens 2024

We were honored to in the prestigious FIRST Global Athens 2024, held at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. As the first Greek FRC team created entirely by its members, this four-day event was an amazing journey of collaboration, innovation, and a celebration of everything STEM stands for.

One of the highlights of the robotics Olympiad itself was Giannis, one of our standout members, who was selected to be part of the official 5-person mission of the Greek national robotics team. His exceptional skills helped drive our success – quite literally – as he drove our robot, “Zeus”, to the top. Giannis' dedication and technical expertise were crucial to Team Greece’s performance, and we couldn't be prouder of his achievements.
